Although this was a (re)union, I thought of it more as a "union" since I didn't know anyone who would be there. Andy and I were a little nervous about this and made a back up plan of just talking to each other in case everyone there was like your crazy drunk uncle. Turned out to be OK- amazing actually, the people we met were awesome and it almost made me want to live on a farm in Wyoming. The (re)union was for Andy's dads moms cousins. Crazy, I know. I was glad we got there early so I could figure out who was who. Too bad the first guy I asked didn't know either. Thanks for nothing, Bruce :)
Anyway, it really was a great weekend and hanging out at the farm was relaxing. The photo opportunities were limitless; between the gorgeous views, the Kitten Barn and the kids running around everywhere there was no shortage of things for me to capture.
Ok, these are the cousins of Charlie's mom.
Left to right, Sandy May, Jane, and Mary.

Andy and I are going back next May to help brand that cattle.
A photo montage is sure to follow that adventure!

A kitten from the Kitten Barn. As soon as we can unload our old heifer cat, we're going back to the Kitten Barn to get us a cute cat :)
Ok, you guys all know I am not one for flattery, so trust me with what I am about to say. The food at this (re)union was AMAZING! Jane makes the most amazing bread- so amazing in fact, that she sells it by the loaf at a local farmers market. This was a spinach and feta bread that I ate 6 pieces of. The only reason I helped in the kitchen was so I could get first dibs on the yums....
And have you tried Sandy May's Rhubarb Pie? Well, let me tell you, it was also amazing. The first night we had brisket from one of Bruce's cows. There was also brisket from the store. No comparison whatsoever would be appropriate between the two meats. Good food!!
Self-dubbed "Team RayBan" I don't think RayBan would hire either of these girls, but they did beat us at the beanbag game, so maybe there is something to it....
If I could have pried this baby out of her grandmother or great grandmothers arms I would have held her. I settled for taking 50 pictures instead.
Bruce has a crappy business
that he runs on the side.
hahahahahaha- ok, get back in your chair.
Walking around, I discovered the port-potty graveyard.

And the best for last. Yes, I did take this photo.
No you can't have my autograph.
I really do love this picture and don't tell my step-father, but I think he is getting a framed version for fathers day. He is a Chevy guy.

If you go live on a farm in Wyoming we are coming with you. Be sure to get a nice in law spread. I am packing now.
I love your pictures, Celina! What kind of treatment do you do to the photos to get that nostalgic look?
